A summer party to celebrate Ketchup’s best year yet.

Celebrate Ketchup's best year yet

To end the summer with a bang, we all came together for our annual company party. This year, it was pirate-themed. But instead of firing cannons, we were popping champagne corks in celebration of Ketchup’s best year yet.

Growth = greatness, but there’s been so much more to our last 12 months than that. Though obviously, we have got a lot bigger and better! Right now, we find ourselves with the strongest Crew we’ve ever had, working with some of the biggest and best brands in our history, and breaking new barriers for results.

And we did it all the Ketchup Way, with our usual mix of craft and graft.

This time last year.

This time last year, we knew we wanted to start doing things differently. We’d strengthened our creative team, which was having a big effect on the results we were getting for major clients.

SEO was on the up, too. Chris, our new SEO manager, was changing our approach to digital strategy and growth. Our SEO services are now more comprehensive than ever, and the benefits are being felt by everyone.

More experience and expertise in the Crew naturally meant new ways of working. We had more strategic voices in the mix, and a bigger sense of collaboration between departments. Clients choosing our outsourced marketing services were really starting to profit from all this.

St Helena Hospice, for example, hit 78% of its annual fundraising target within just two months, thanks to our Let it Glow campaign.

Starrett wanted to do more at trade shows. We designed and built three bespoke stands, fully integrating its refreshed brand identity, and incorporating a full event marketing strategy to maximise ROI. The Starrett team walked away from Toolfair Sandown having sold over 1,000 products, and collected over 700 warm leads.

All this was great, but it had started to feel like we’d begun to outgrow our old brand.

A better fit for the Crew.

If you want to know the ins and outs of our new brand, we’ve already posted about it, click here. We’re super proud of how we look, feel, and sound now – it really feels like Ketchup has come of age. Which makes sense considering we’ve been going just over 16 years.

The whole point was to create something that really captures the spirit of who we are now: honest, talented, hard-working, and good-looking…

It’s been a long process, but that’s because we treat Ketchup exactly as we would treat any other client. We do things properly, leaving no stone unturned to get to the right result. We reckon the results have really been worth it.

The Crew, old and new.

We’ve touched on this a little bit already, but the past 12 months have really seen an influx of talent to the Ketchup Crew. Plus, some of the older hands celebrated a few notable anniversaries.

Kitty, one of our designers, has been here six years. Brand Manager Ellie, five. Our in-house Brand Manager Lisa has been with us for three, as has Senior Marketing Coordinator Alex. Operations Director Paul had his sixth Ketchiversary, too.

As for new starts, we welcomed lots of talent to the team. Graeme, Kim, and Lizzie joined our creative teams, Chris came in to lead our SEO department, and Ellie B., Lloyd, and Sarah joined the marketing department. Each of them has brought something unique to the table; they’re all bl**dy good at what they do.

Say hello!

Ketchup: a winning machine.

Listen, we’re not here to brag, but what’s the point of marketing if you can’t point to the results? And we’ve had some flipping massive ones in the past year!

On top of all that, we grew ourselves, too. Ketchup’s revenue grew by 25% in the past 12 months, and welcomed many new clients through the doors. And each one got a friendly smile and a nice cuppa, as well.

You’ve arrived at the party. Welcome.

All that brings us bang up to date, in August 2026. It’s been a h*ll of a year – full of pure grit and grind, creative solutions, and the challenge of adapting to each turn of the tide. Only right that the party was pirate-themed, really.

As the pirates poured in, we raised a glass, took photos together, and ‘set sail’ on the day ahead.

We took part in some great activities and ‘friendly’ competition. Let’s just say our hard graft and will to win were fully on show! Some might call it team-building, we call it mission-critical.

Hoops were hula’d; chairs were built from cardboard (but only one held up), songs were sung, (but only one performance was any good).

Speeches and awards sealed the day, as the biggest and best achievements were celebrated. Then the serious business could begin: dancing, drinking, and enjoying an epic cheeseboard.

Same again next year?

Well, no. This was a great year, but at Ketchup, we always want to go further. So, when you’re reading the 2027 version of this blog, expect to see so much more. Bigger numbers, better results, and a new and long list of very happy clients.
