Revenue Management Solutions (RMS) provides best-in-class, data-driven solutions that increase profitability for major restaurant franchises.

Our job was to get this message quickly and clearly via a new website and video content.

The old RMS website was clunky and confusing. So we built a new one, prioritising UX and SEO. We wanted RMS to be confident that, once a user had visited, they’d really ‘get’ what RMS could do for them.

Our videos aimed to explain RMS’s solutions in straightforward terms. We distilled some tricky information down into bitesize chunks, delivering three clear, concise videos.

A new website, from concept to delivery

RMS provides high-end data-driven solutions for major restaurant brands and franchises, and requires a professional platform to show off its services. We focused on creating seamless UX, blending different content types to convey a clear message to prospective clients.

Previously, visitors to the old website had trouble even working out which of the five solutions they needed to improve their business’ profitability [not what you want]. A key task for us was to make sure that, once someone landed on the new site, they had everything explained to them clearly and coherently, and had the option to contact RMS if more info was needed.

The result is a website that’s educational and informative, and fully optimised for SEO to get RMS content in front of the right people. At launch, the site had a performance score of 91%, with accessibility, best practice and SEO scores all at 100%. Since then, we’ve developed the site further, increasing functionality and equipping RMS with the tools they need to thrive online.

When we migrated everything across to the new site, we ensured that visitors could find what they were looking for quickly, and get a good understanding of exactly what RMS offers. We used core tags based on key RMS solutions, grouping content in a way that made sense.

Writing that jumps off the page

RMS absolutely loved the copy we wrote to bring our work to life and asked us to write the entire site from the ground up. This allowed us to integrate everything, so we focused on creating logical user journeys to promote seamless UX. Everything was designed to be clear and easy to understand, and every page was SEO-optimised [we think the results speak for themselves].

Designed to be futureproof

RMS provides five data-driven solutions, and needed a super-technical website to demonstrate them. We built the site to evolve as RMS’ solutions do, and since launch, we’ve added new features. The site now allows clients to generate custom tables from their own data, and its pages have bespoke content types and animations.

SEO that grabs attention

We optimised the site for SEO pre-launch, and continued to work on it once live to get it ranking consistently. The results we’ve delivered have been excellent [even if we say so ourselves], with a 105% increase in organic Google search impressions, and a 71% increase in organic Google search CTR – all in the first four months of the site going live.

RMS is showing up consistently where it matters, with 62 keywords ranking in positions 1-3 on Google, and another 159 in positions 4-10.

Of course, we’re also fully onboard the AI train, and have achieved a 46.51% increase in AI referral traffic to the RMS website month-on-month. That headline result is supported by 279+ keywords, 27+ AI commercial overviews, and +40 AI citations.

Our successful delivery of RMS’ website SEO has been fruitful for everyone: we’re now working with them on a contractual basis, delivering consistent SEO and working with them on video production [it’s all go].

Allow us to introduce RMS, via video

There’s no question – what RMS does is highly specialised. Conveying its offer to restaurants via a short, easily digestible video proved challenging. At the start of the project, we immersed ourselves in discovery calls and presentations to gain a deep understanding of RMS’ business. All of this was fed into our ideation process, along with important inputs from the client as to the overall direction of the video [it’s their content, after all].

Once we had a handle on all of this, we began to script the video frame by frame, with a heavy emphasis on clarity of message. We went for a clean, graphics-based style, which mirrors the creative direction seen across the rest of the website, and a clear, friendly [yet authoritative] voiceover.

We wrote the script with the aim of capturing the key aspects of RMS’ offer – particularly improving profitability for their clients. We ensured that it aligned with the client’s goals and TOV, before presenting it back to them.

Our [super talented] design team used the script to create rough sketches and animations, mapping out how we aimed to visually describe RMS’ solutions. These were then shared with the client for feedback.
