OFFERING A BREATH OF FRESH AIR FOR LEISURE INDUSTRY MARKETING

Overview

With fishing lakes, luxury lodges and a self-catering cottage, Stretton Lakes is the perfect escape for a day out or a short break in the countryside.

The client sought our social media expertise to better engage their audience and encourage bookings. After Ketchup’s digital team saw a fantastic opportunity to start a TikTok account for the client, we produced a clear strategy with content pillars for regular content posting.

A  SENSATIONAL  SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY

Our social media package also included paid ads on Facebook to reach a more targeted audience that significantly increased the number of accommodation bookings.

We also boosted posts to meet the client’s goals, with campaigns to promote awareness of the new touring site and aid recruitment. With our recruitment ad alone, we reached over 13,000 people and filled both advertised positions with just a £235 ad spend.

Content creation

The client was underutilising their Instagram account, so we rebranded it and added highlights to showcase their full offering. All of the content followed clear content pillars, including lodges, the Victory Cottage, fishing, touring and things to do locally. This allows all copy and designs to be tailored to specific calls to action, for greater engagement and conversions.

Using analytics to help inform decisions and gain insight into their content performance, we’ve delivered some [impressive] results for the client. The focus was on promoting their new touring site which opened in June 2023. To raise Stretton Lakes’ profile, we ran engagement initiatives that included a lodge stay giveaway and interactive stories.

Tiktok and Instagram Reels

By introducing the client to TikTok and Instagram Reels, we were able to reach their target demographic of a younger audience. We leveraged video content on these platforms to drive lodge bookings and attract fishing enthusiasts from near and far, encouraging them to purchase day passes. As a result, Stretton Lakes’ customer base has grown considerably.
