A little bit about Ben.
Twenty years plus of strategy, marketing operations, and client services. That experience has helped me to hone my craft. To me, client services isn’t about just onboarding and moving on to the next one. It’s about working out how brands and agencies can come together and work as partners. That way, everybody wins.
I love to learn and put new knowledge into practice. I have four sales qualifications from the Institute of Sales Management, and completed a course in Business Management at Nottingham Business School. And whilst that’s great, there’s no better qualification than nearly two decades’ sales and client management experience.
After nearly twelve years at Pareto Law, I came to Ketchup eager to pitch in. I take a hands-on approach, and love to get to know our clients’ needs. It’s then a question of working with the Crew to figure out exactly how we’re going to deliver on them. Sales at Ketchup isn’t really about “selling” anything. What I do is help our clients to figure out exactly how we can solve their problem.
My degree in philosophy informs a thoughtful approach, and I prioritise long-term evolution over quick wins. My friendliness, empathy and curiosity helps Ketchup foster amazing client relationships, and I’m really proud of the successes we’ve had together.
At the weekend, you can usually find me wandering through a National Trust forest, reading a book, playing the piano, or chasing my two daughters around in an attempt to tire them out before bedtime.
Benjamin’s favourite thing about Ketchup.
Michael Cane said “use the difficulty” – it’s something I get to put into practice here at Ketchup, and I love that. I believe that any difficulty life throws at us can be used to our advantage in some way; you just have to look hard enough.
